Family Finance Solutions
Early Neutral Information Sessions
Alison believes that receiving essential information at the outset, or when they are contemplating separation, will help couples set out a plan to move forward in a way that best meets the needs of their family and allows them to take control of their process. For a flat fee of $350 plus HST, Alison will spend 2 hours with you and your former partner to provide information on the various family law related issues that you need to know.
At the end of a neutral information session, you will have an understanding of the types of decisions that will have to be made and ideas for next steps. You will be able to identify the process best suited for your situation and to identify the types of professionals to support you throughout.
You will hear about…
- Financial issues related to property division, child support and spousal support
- Process Options (Mediation, Collaborative Practice, Negotiation, Litigation, Arbitration)
- What to expect as you move through the process
- What you need to know before choosing your lawyer
- Steps to get started
- Available resources and referrals to other professionals
“Alison gave us multiple options to separate our financials and talked us through the impact of various different approaches from a tax and cash flow perspective. She has a positive attitude and maintains neutrality when dealing with emotionally charged issues.”
